This program is *SHAREWARE!* A considerable amount of time was
put into this project so if you use Click-n-Learn please send
us $10.00 U.S. - We would love to know what you think of Click-n-
Learn also.
This small payment will entitle you to future updates and new
modules direct from us at little cost.
Disclaimer:
Mr. Tom Bermingham and Mr. Andrew Oberweger make no warranties as
to the fitness or marketability of this software. We will not
accept any responsibility for any damage running this software may
cause. Don't worry, there is basically nothing that running
this program can harm but I just love making up disclaimers!
Introduction:
Click-n-Learn is intended for a commonly neglected
audience, little babies and preschoolers. We designed this
program simply because my niece, Alexandra (7 months), really
enjoys pushing any button that is within her reach. She especially
likes to annoy her mom while her mom is using the Amiga.
BINGO - give her something useful to play with. We figure
that simple, useful, educational feedback can not do any harm and who
knows may even really help!
This program is meant to provide good healthy feedback to your
youngster as he/she explores the screens using the Amigas mouse.
Set Up // Requirements:
You will need an Amiga with a mouse. You should have at least
one megabyte of RAM (although we have not tested this on
a 1 Meg machine we are fairly sure it will work ok).
You will need AmigaVision software as well.
You must unLHarc this file (I assume you already have) to a blank
disk or a hard drive directory.
All of the IFF pictures belong in a directory called "PICS" and all
of the sounds belong in a directory called "SOUNDS" along with
the file "LED". These two directories should in turn be placed
inside another directory and all other files belong in this directory
or the root of a disk.
Your structure should be as follows:
.info 37 ----rwed Today
STV 8548 ----rwed Today
Read.Me.info 726 ----rwed Today
Read.Me 4516 ----rwed Today
Alexprog.Doc 1755 ----rwed Today
Click-N-Learn.AVf 13116 ----rwed Today
SOUNDS Dir ----rwed Today
PICS Dir ----rwed Today
Disk.info 306 ----rwed Today
Click-N-Learn.AVf.info 553 ----rwed Today
You must name the diskette "ALEXPROG" or "ASSIGN ALEXPROG:
DEV:DIR"
For instance, if you had a drawer on your DH1: hard disk partition
named Click-n-Learn and the PICS and SOUNDS dirs plus all other
files were inside this directory you would make the following
assignment: ASSIGN: ALEXPROG: DH1:CLICK-N-LEARN
That should just about cover everything. The program can be read
from the AlexProg.AVF icon (make sure AmigaVision is assigned).
Instructions:
Complete Instructions are available by selecting the HELP button
from the main menu.
Other Semi-Relevant Info:
All Sounds were created using Perfect Sound Digitizer & software and
AudioMaster II software.
All Graphics were created using Deluxe Paint III with the exception
of the digitized baby Alexandra which was scanned on a Sharp JX-100.
Our apologies to Bugs Bunny, Submarine Crews and Bill and Ted.
Thanks and Enjoy!!
